Experience Design Lead, Spin Master Videowall 2017-19
Experience Design Lead
Hired to lead research, design, and production of a large-scale interactive videowall experience for the welcome area of Spin Master’s new global headquarters; considered to be Canada’s largest interactive 8K videowall.
Led a design research process including workshops, surveys, interviews, journey mapping, and concepting to identify the business needs and operational parameters.
Working with Spin Master’s internal creative teams, we envisioned, pitched, and planned an overall interaction concept that supported Spin Master’s diverse use-cases.
Managed production of content for the experience as well as multiple external vendors including the development of a custom Unity and web-based application created by Globacore.
This project would not have been possible without the following individuals:
Spin Master’s Executive Team
Holly Peacock, Global Director of Facilities, Spin Master
Mike Arnott, Creative Director, Spin Master
Dylan Belyck-Seymour, Interactive & Art Director, Spin Master (Belyck-Seymour provided extraordinary UX/UI support as we refined the concept into a final product; you can find a detailed breakdown of the design system, style guides and motion graphic concepts he created here on his website).
